Alwarestoch Lodge No. 7805 is a great-granddaughter lodge of Royal Sussex Lodge No. 342.
Our line runs through Gosport Lodge No. 903 and our mother lodge, Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1705. Each lodge helped a new generation of Freemasons establish a home of its own.

This family illustration was compiled by W. Bro. Richard Lovell-Butt PPAGDC of Royal Sussex Lodge No. 342. At Alwarestoch’s November 2024 meeting, he kindly gave permission for the lodge to display his research.
The full record contains Royal Sussex and 69 descendant lodges across six generations. Richard’s accompanying note describes 45 lodges in the Hampshire branch, 16 in Cyprus and one in Leicestershire & Rutland.
